The MCW welcomes and supports the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales and equally stands in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the USA.  As a Movement we know many people in the USA who have been and continue to be active in organisations that promote equality in work and the wider community.  In the USA as well as here in the UK many BAME workers suffer daily from discrimination and abuse of their basic human rights.  

It is a sign of hope that we see Black and White American and British people uniting to demonstrate against the evil of racism and the killing of George Floyd.
